After watching Brisbane and West Coast play over the weekend, it pains me deeply to say this, but we have as much hope of a snowball in Hell of beating them over the next two weeks. And these are on their home turf.
We just don't have the fire power.
The Eagles, with Judd and Cousins stalking the ground, Staker, new boy Graham and Sampi up forward, I ask you who have we got to combat these players?? More so now we have lost a good part of our backline in *smile* and Thursfield.
As for the Lions!! Who in their right mind would want to play them at home with man mountain Brown running rampant, Bradshaw marking everything in sight, and that's not to mention Ackers, Power, Black and Voss.
The skill level of these two teams is mind blowing. Lightning hand passes, accurate foot passes, speed, and more importantly backing one another up all the time. Of course they run like hares.
We are toast, people!!
If I am wrong, then I will be the first to eat humble pie, but common sense tells me we are in big trouble in these games.
If you think this is pie in the sky stuff, then feel free to disagree.
