Not that you can pin point one person after the worst defeat in ten years,but once again Tivvers starred.
Was that he's 199th game straight for the Tigers?

Tivva had a lot of mates out there last night Bisket.
 
I said that mate, but everytime theres an issue he always wants to shirk it or give the responsibility to someone else.
 
surely we had a chance to trade him last year , if they are trying to get a good year out of him to get good trade value then a lotto ticket might be a more lucrative offer

Agreed - Coghlan, Johnson, Rodan, Tambling, *smile*, Krakrouer, Pattison, Pettifer, Simmonds, Hyde, to name a few

The only Tiger players to hold their heads high were - Newman - I thought he was hard at it all night, Brown - gave all he had and more, P Bowden - played well for about 85% of the game and did a few things wrong for the other 15%, Raines - had a fair crack at it, slightly beaten on the night by Murphy but that was to do with the wave after wave of Bulldog delivery more than his opponent beating him one on one, Delidio - flashed in and out, when he kicked those 2 goals in the 2nd quarter whilst at FF I thought TW you have made a match winning move - but then our centre dried up.

We can all bag certain *smile* poor efforts tonight - but who is going to take their place if they are dropped to Coburg? Stafford, Hall, Roach, Chaffey - it does not inspire confidence - lets not drop them - lets make them play better by getting some run into their legs - and start winning the centre.....
 
some people have such a hatred for particular players it strangles their ability to make an honest judgement.

It's pathetic to single out one player just because you don't rate them. >:(

A few of our players could learn from Tivva's low, direct passes tonight. Not saying everything he did was perfect but some of his kicks were very good.

Why not Thursfield, Oakley-nicholls and why not Roach. The thing is the centre was not our real problem ..... the problem was the half forward line ...... if you can't penetrate that you have no chance of winning ...... is the answer lid's on one flank and 'bling on the other!??!?!?!?!!
 
Yep singling out one player isn't worthwhile. We got comprehensively pantsed tonight, and to be honest there is no need to worry about the half forward line. Having one which had fired still wouldn't have gotten us over the line- it just would have reduced the margin.

They ran us down, beat us on all lines, ran in packs and were first to the ball - good finishing was the icing on the cake.

Hey this rebuilding thing is fun.

Is it just me but I thought they killed us with their fitness?

Maybe, at least i don"t shirk the issues like other people.I say what i feel and if that upsets people that love hacks too bad.

well thats all fine and lovely, but the simple fact remains: last night there were at least 18 other players who deserve to be more lambasted than tivva. You may hate him or love him, but last night tivva at least gave it a half-decent shot. you want to abuse him for that, go ahead, but its wasted IMO.

you may not shirk the issue or whatever you tell yourself to justify this attack, but ultimately you're attacking the wrong player. like blx says, your letting your personal opinion of one player affect the way you see him play.
