I know its early but Alwyn is better than Aaron!!!!!

He is exciting.

Alwyn is one player I wish we had.

What a career this bloke will have.

any one agree.

Could not agree more. He was electric today. Out of curiousity what was Aaron taken in the draft, and what was Alwyn taken?

Not a chance, alwyn needs more than a couple of good games to get to Aaron's standards, ok aaron hasn't been at his best this year but we all know what he has done on many occassions.

Aaron was rookied by Melbourne in 2003 I think and Alwyn was taken at 36 last year at age 23.

See I know I might be stereotyping here, but I would love it if we had a young, super-quick indigenous boy, because they bring supporters to the games. You see already with Alwyn, Lindsay Thomas, Matt Campbell, Eddie Betts and co., they are just exciting players. And history has shown they don't have to be high picks. Why can't we draft a speedy forward pocket like that?

Perhaps Peterson will be one?

Not particularly relevant to this conversation, but he does the same dangly hand thing as his brother, too. :spin

A couple of the things he did today were magical - will be interesting to see how he develops.

Ms Tantie.

to anyone who still thinks krak is up to it needs to watch these boys

small forwards need to have pace and a good motor to spend time in the midfield and get their own ball because the crumbs are getting less and less

meyer/edwards/peterson are good options

Alwyn has taken everyone by surprise this year, but he doesn't get the same attention that Aaron gets every week. Wait till he runs into Steven Baker.

Aaron has been a very good player for a couple of years now, so I would wait before making the claim that Alwyn is better.

Both rely on their side,s to be up and running.
Can we comeback to this thread in 2yrs time? ;)
