I need to know - How good is J. Post - Will he play?

Jayden Post played for the Western Jets.

Did well too, though he was a year up on most of the boys.

But talls do take a bit longer.

I reckon he'll be just fine.

If you're in to Jayden Post, Coburg is the place to be in 2009.

Extremely surprised if he played AFL footy this year.

Though stranger things have happened in the past down at Tigerland.

Terry likes him alot.

An intra club game is hard to make catagoric statements about players, but if you were going to make one on Post after the game on Thursday i am wondering how you could say this. He took more contested marks than anyone on the ground and was a major positive to me leaving the ground. The guy next to me kept asking "who was that", and i kept saying "that was Post again".

He flies for everything. He takes one grab marks in packs. His kicking on a few occasions might have been a bit better.

Putt looks like a really good prospect as a lead up forward.

To put his age in perspective he is 3 months younger than Rance and older than Chimp.

One thing in his favor for getting a senior game is he can play at both ends. The person who maybe should be looking over their shoulder is Sarge.
He is years behind Jay who doesn't look over his shoulder for anyone.

I suppose it depends on what you take away from intra-club practice matches.

If Post makes it that early, that's great.
But it would be well ahead of expectations.

Personally, I hope he exceeds expectations.

Yeah, especially seeing how our defence is settled, he would have to leapfrog Richo, Jack and to a lesser extent Cleve and JB to get a gig as a taller marking fwd.

He's already passed Cleve as a marking forward IMO, and his performance the other day was better than Jack's too (but Jack is a certain starter now, so they'd both have to play).

JB is a versatile player and he will not hold anyone back. If Post shows promising signs up forward, Joel will simply find another position to help us win matches from.

Plus he won't be taking marks against little pre-pubescent teenagers anymore, it will be crazy nuffers like Setanta!!!!

Kelvin Moore is a pre-pubescent teenager?

Moore and McGuane are one of the toughest tag team talls in the competition, I'd suggest Post can't wait to play on the likes of.... Setanta :rofl

Is our NAB game next week going to be televised?

If so, can't wait to see youngsters like Post play, very exciting

Hughes and Schulz may well feel the heat from Wilbur i reckon at some stage.

Both one their last chances this year I'd say. I think they will be leap-froggd by some of the other up-and-comers. I hate to say this because Hughes has talent just doesn't quite have the killer instinct required. Schulz just doesn't have the engine.
