I think Wallace will be gone by the end of the week

You'd think that the media will be ready and waiting as soon as Wallace shows up at Punt Road with cameras rolling. Nothing as yet it seems?

I heard on SEN today he will be on and talking publicly about the events of the last 48 hrs and his take on things on Friday.

You know for some reason I hope your wrong.
Don't get me wrong I think TW has to go but lets do it as it should be done and do it at seasons end. The board can insruct TW to play kids for rest of year and find the diamonds amongst the rough. Whats the point of an interim coach? We are a finals write off and we desperately need some stability.
This situation needs cool heads and we need to look to the future and not get carried away in the hype. What prospective coach would want to come to a club that hangs it's coach out to dry just to satisfy some bonhead journos?
If the club holds firm and defends TW from the wolves we may just take an important step in the right direction for the RFC.
By the way, I feel sorry for TW. Say what you want and rant and rave about how he has stuffed us but remember that he came to Tigerland with the best intentions and at the end of the day he is just trying to do his job. Bet some of you pencil pushers would scream blue murder if some media and colleagues wobbled your partition wall whilst you shuffled papers and checked your supercoach results...

Having read comments about the Morton Spray I hope he goes and doesnt come back. How naive is Terry to think that one incident cost him his career. Hello Terry....have a look at the inept attitude that exists. That can only be blamed on one person...the person who makes the decisions...YOU! Terry your career was over long before last week. A succession of pathetic games confounded by a non existant game plan, lack of structure, unskilled players, it surely must all stop with you. You make the decision, youa re the one who leads. You are the one who must go.
Good bye Terry.....but please, PLEASE take the deadheads from the box with you!

Top Post...but I can't agree feeling sorry for TW, he's had his time and really he's made some terrible decisions and made some desperate ones too (Kent Kingsley :hihi) But it would be great as you say to let him coach out the year if he plays the kids. I can handle losing by 80 points a game if it means the only 30 year old out there is Cuz. Simmonds, Brown, Bowden, Johnson need to step aside now. It's tiger CUB time. :gotigers

I'm an executive search consultant in Japan and deal with many business managers in CEO positions. If you're running a company and losing money each quarter you are gone (your sorry ass is fired). Nobody cares about a contract. Wallace is a useless failure. Why keep him, just because we have a contract with him. No point! Move him on and bring some calm to our club. We can then play out the year and start searching for a great coach. If you want to win, you have to be tough and ruthless at times. As usual the club has no leadership and no idea now to manage its staff.

With interest rates below zero there must be a lot of sorry asses in Tokyo the last 20 years.

Been thinking about this for a few days and would like some thoughts on this.

Wallace has been a no show for two days. Is there training tommorow? What will we all think IF he doesnt show up tommorow nights session ? What will be the reasoning behind it ? The press will have a field day.

Is this part of what Garry spoke about(contigency plans re the review period) which will be completed within two weeks we are led to believe. Mid season.

Is Garry and Craig having a look at how Rawlings, King, Campbo and Royal conduct themselves over this week in regards to training. I cant believe that Wallace wouldnt take now two sessions of training. Every game is important, we are only 2 games out of the 8. I would have thought his focus would be on this VERY crucial game. If we lose this game , then i would have to say ITS IT FOR THE SEASON(if it already isnt). Are they being looked at with the view that within a fortnight when the review is completed, Terry will either be sacked, leave(unlikely) or another reason which we will be made aware of shortly or made up to , so Terry doesnt lose face.(illness).

I have said for close to two years there is something deeply wrong at the club with the players and Terry at times. Are the senior players having too much of a say? These players in there 30"s would be deeply concerned that a new coach arriving next year or a caretaker appointed would place their positions and careers in jeopardy. ?

What transpired should have been somehow kept in-house. Why it wasnt or for what reasons it was leaked, if at all, or just a media beat up, we may never now.

Will this unite the playing group or will there be a devide between the young players and the senior players. Remmember Terry's famous 2011 comment. Has this finally come back to haunt the players ?

Inuendo doesnt help this situation at all.

If there is a player revolt, those players causing this rift should play the rest of the year in the reserves, and sacked at the end of the year. It doesnt surprise me as this type of thing has occured at the club for the last 2 decades. Go back in history and you will find similar things happening at teh club. Guess what? Senior players were the ones rumoured to be the catalyst of disharmony.

I am please that the club, Garry & Craig and stood firm.

" WHAT PART OF MID-SEASON DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND? I HAVE SAID IT LAST YEAR, I HAVE SAID THIS WEEK , I HAVE SAID IN PREVIOUS WEEKS."

Come this Saturday night and today (being thursday) since its taking me over half an hour to write this and also write what i feel, we will have more answers or more intrigue.

Lets stick strong with the club we love. The rest is out of our hands.
