Did anyone see this game from 1982? I don't want to go on too much about this year, but I will say that Foxtel has helped me piece together of what went wrong with the Tigers in 1982.
- BT played a ripper game, but didn't play in the Grand Final - can someone confirm - was he injured?
- Roach played a brilliant game in the ruck - very forward thinking for 1982 - why wasn't this continued?
- Rioli and raines seemed to work well together in this game.
- Malhouse was as tough as nails. I saw him give Conlan (I think) an upper cut. Would have got 6-8 weeks if he did it now. We all know what happened the night before the Grand Final.
- Martello looked terrible in this game - made Strachan look agile and nimble.
Some of these trends were and were not continued in the GF - may have been costly.
