Now we all know that we're considered a bit of a joke in AFL circles, and a number of players and people in important positions have baulked at the thought of being at Richmond in the past.
That said, I've been wondering what Ben thinks of Richmond. Now he's always said he's happy to be playing again... but deep down, I wonder what he thinks about playing AT Richmond. I wonder what he thinks of the playing group, our facilities (especially in comparison to the Eagles facilities) etc...
If he could choose to play at Richmond... or somewhere else... do you reckon he'd pick the Tiges?
I know no-one can answer this, but I wonder if he's really happy with where he's ended up. I'm sure when he was dreaming of playing back in the AFL he didn't picture himself playing for the Tigers...
Some of you may think this is a mute point, but Ben's happiness about where he is, and what he's doing is the be-all and end-all in his case. If he's unhappy, or disillusioned, he could find a return to the pharmaceuticals an attractive prospect...
