I wonder who reads these posts??

Somehow the original theme of this thread has been lost. Suppose that's the way things happen in life, but anyway, Rosy answered my original question quite well, I thought. As for abusing players on here and slandering them....not good, but that is different to criticising their performance on the day. Seems to me it is OK to do that without calling them as "scum" or whatever comes to mind. Not saying anyone has used that word, but just making a point as Rosy originally stated.

a dud is a dud is a dud. a non tackler a non tackler a squib a squib a shocking kick a shocking kick a poor decision maker a poor decision maker an underachiever a underachiever. to me you call it as you see it and stuff what others think.
if i saw pettifer or mcmahon in the street i would certainly let them know they are pathetic defensively and lack intstinal fortitude. after all i would only be stating fact.
Wouldn't it be funny if that actually happened and Jordy kicked the living suitcase out of craw. Sorry mate - but the hilarity of the visual picture was too much to keep to myself!

God help us if they come on here looking for idea's and feed back :help

Pretty sure they keep a keen eye on Inspector clawso's posts and suggestions. How else could we be so successful ?

I have spoken to a "few" players at RFC casually and the opinion is that the vast majority of football players do not read any online forums at all and are encouraged not to do so by the club..... even more so than the print media.

For obvious reasons, and that includes in the good times and the bad times.

I actually find that reassuring, fan sites are for fans and media. You always notice the negative feedback more than the positive and I reckon if I was a player and reading these sites I would I wind up hating my own clubs supporters. Even if you are not coping it your mates are.

Not sure if this has been posted but Eddie McGuire yesterday morning on SEN revealed that after the Carlton game they had the internet running in the box and they were all over PRE, that's were he got his Sheedy for coach theory as is was being posted around here. So that was a good mention of PRE on primetime.

I don't think Eddie needed to read PRE to be aware of the possibility. Regardless like Caro has said just because PRE is talking about it doesn't mean he has to fan the flames and try to justify it as something people are talking about. Journalists are there to report news not try and create it.

That's funny because I read PRE and I get the impression that very few of us are interested in Sheeds as coach, I think Eddie is reading what he wants to into PRE

This could be a very dangerous thread 8)

I expect Rosy & Disco should send out the secret police in the middle of the night and dictate what people post on it, there are some sensitive topics that could be touched on in here. :police:

Yes, peeps clearly I am joking. Though every time I check it I am wincing waiting for a few topics to occur in it, but I shall not be the one to start them. ;D

They deserve all the abuse they get after that performance on Thursday night.

You'll need to change your appoach this week Tb and put in the hard yards with some constructive criticism. :P If McMahon doesn't play this week then the next whipping boy in line will cop it.
