I've looked up and down and no-one seems to have started a tribute thread (if someone has please feel free to delete this one). Anyhow Ian Major has died suddenly after being admitted to hospital (apparently he had suffered for years from non-Hodgkinson's lymphoma). Coupled with Jack Dyer they formed what was the legendary 'Capt and the Major' football commentary team at 3KZ. Sad to see him go but a great legacy all the same and I'm sure Capt Blood has given him a hearty welcome in heaven. Rest In Peace 'The Major'.
