PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

I didn't read the article on the RFC site but the headline had Terry saying fitness isn't the issue. It makes me wonder what they'd be looking at trying to solve the problem of our team giving up winning leads.

The message obviously isn't getting through for some reason. I watched The Year of the Dog again recently and there's a massive contrast between Terry in that film and now. Makes me wonder if the attitude in the movie was contrived for the script. I know Terry can fire up after a loss but wonder if that kind of passion inspires players before and during a game.

If we can be in a position of winning leads and lose with fitness not being an issue it makes me wonder what a coach like Northey could do with this list.

We need some us against them, Tigers are to be feared attitude bigtime.

If only we could clear the players brains of our past history of failure and reprogram them to bleed yellow and black. We need a culture where losing simply isn't acceptable.

What kind of things would the club be looking at today to try and workout why we are not winning games after we've set up the chance to do so? I hope they can find the answer because I expect the team to be really fired up against the Dogs and for every player to give their all for the entire 120? minutes?
