If the boys don't come out breathing fire this week against stkilda then I'm afraid the club is in real danger and every club in the competition will ink us in for 4 points. I don't care if we lose as long as I see some real hardness at the player and the ball and make stkikda earn their kicks. There is no doubt several of our players will be fighting for their careers so early in the season after that performance.
 
The catch 22 facing the club is to maintain the similar 22 or start blooding youngsters.

Either way, we'll get smashed against a hungrier and much stronger oppostion.
 
If you think that after having received the spanking we did from the Bullies that we are going to come out fighting then you're wrong. We will get done but certainly not by that asme massive margin. Maybe about 36 points.

I can't wait to see our response on Friday Night. The saints are coming back from a trip to Perty, the best time to play any side, and we have benn shamlessely flogged. if a certain few (they knwo who they are ) don't stand up and have a crack this week, send them to Coburg for the duration and play the kids.

C'mon boys, have a go.

Laff I know you're in your element at the moment but your fun will be short lived. Hope you've stocked up on casks to drown your sorrows because one game does not a season make. In 22 weeks time I'm confident we'll have a lot more positives to discuss than negatives so you'll be out of a job.
 
What i'm afraid of is our expectations. Seriously lets not kid ourselves we are still building and sometimes when building you are confronted with obsticles, these set you back.
We started well last season and bombed in the second half.. Hopefully we will show improvement throughout the year ( well we better and we will ) Lets just keep it in perspective its one game, one loss to a team of great potential, its not the end of the world. We're still a chance to finish 9th ;) ;) ;D

This friday nite will resemble a Speed kills add, except we wont be hit by a car
doing 65k's, but a semi trailer doing 110!!!
What is the league record for the biggest flogging ever!!
Prepare for the worst this friday ferals and then thank god that West Coast arent a
big goal kicking side!!!

I know the feeling, but if they come out looking for a fight, then they'll get one, whch they will lose along with the match. I'd rather see them attack the ball, leave everything out there on the field and gain a little respect, not just from us and their opponents, but for themselves. They not only let us down on Friday night, they let themselves down.

Their most nervous game is always against St Kilda and now it's a perfect time to show how much brain and heart they have by concentrating more on the ball rather than their opponent.
