IF we finish on the bottom would this be a good idea? Draft clarification (merged)

Re: IF we finish on the bottom would this be a good idea?

I would trade Cogs if we where to get a 1st rd pick but i don't think any club would give a 1st rd pick for him.
He is not going to get any better.

The Bowden family reunion at Tigerland might be short lived ;)

Draft Clarification

Can anyone clarify how many games we need to win before we miss out on the priorit pick. This is not to be a negative thread I just want to know what the cut off point is for us.

Re: Draft Clarification

Think it used to be "no more than winning five games". This allowed 5 games and a draw. Now I am sure it has been changed to "no more than 20 points" which eliminates the draw. The priority pick has also been moved to the second round. The first round is now uncompromised ie 16 teams - 16 choices.

Think this is now the rules. Not sure if this applies year by year or if there has to be 2 or more years under 20 points.

Re: Draft Clarification

As i understand it, if you win less than 5 games, you recieve a bonus pick at the end of the first round. If you win under 5 games two years in a row, you get the pick before the first round, but i dont know if you still get one after the first round as well.

And i dont know about the amount of games, im just using whats previously been said...sorry.
