What would you have done differently? In terms of game plan, structure, media involvment, recruiting, list managment.

Orrr, instead of living in the past, what would you do if you were Terry Wallace right now?

I would have traded Richo 2 years ago for 2 first round draft picks or 1 first rounder and a good player. I would have picked Angus Monfries instead of Danny Meyer, Cameron Wood instead of Adam Pattison, Shannon Hurn ahead of JON, and used late picks and the rookie list on Ruckman and a few extra KPP's.

I would have traded heavily into extra picks in the 2006 draft, even if it meant moving someone of value on to get someone of potentially higher value.

I would absolutely flog the boys on the track after pathetic losses like yesterday and last years 100 point drubbings, to the point where they would be too afraid to put in heartless performances like that again.

I would no longer allow players to get a game based on experience or reputation. You would have to earn your spot or you would be playing for Coburg. You would also likely be traded or delisted at years end.

Daniel Jackson would no longer be at the club. How he didn't go before Rodan beats me.

I would ensure that the club spends far more on recruitment. That is an investment with great returns at a football club. The more you spend on recruiting (if in the right areas), the more quality players you pick up, the more games you win, the more members you get signing up. Plus you have countless less headaches and embarrassment. Pretty easy maths as far as I'm concerned.

That'll do for a start.

The Krakouer thread will never had the chance to be as long as it is now.

It would be 2 1/2 years of posting shorter.

thats a start.
