I have been looking for some positive comments on how well Matthew Richardson played last night. I well know there are heaps of posts about him, but in particular, I mean last night. Not too many to date.
He roamed far and wide, took marks everywhere, kicked 4 goals, one where he shrugged off a tackle in the goal mouth and kicked one for us.
This guy is dead set an out and out champion and deserves all the accolades one can send his way. He tried his huge heart out last night, and no fault of his we lost. At the end of the game he was totally exhausted, after giving his all. If there was a medal for Tiger spirit available he would qualify hands down. It is going to be a sad day when he retires. May his black and yellow blood flow for a few more years yet!!!
