Improving the Half Forward line

His poor attitude was rfelected by having TW refuse to promote him towards years end and was also apparant at a number of training sessions where he was reamed by TW and David King for lack of intensity , effort , and concentration.
In my book i reckon Jay is on his last chance this year with TW.

Good. I really like to see a consistent and professional message sent to the younger players. Anyone who hasn't got the mental outlook isn't required. I do think a lot of the poor outlook seems to be associated with injury though for some of these younger players. Obviously hope Schulz has a good year with his socks well and truly pulled up.

I was under the impression that one of Pattos key factors in getting picked was the fact that he had a big motor and could get to a lot of contests. Hope this still true. I think he will make it as a CHF.

I agree on *smile*, time to pay the piper on the training track over this summer. No more excuses.

richo in the goal square, and free to roam within the 50m arc,
schulz at chf as the first marking option, if not clear look for richo,
if neither can take the mark, with the likes of deledio, tambling, kraukouer, pettifer, brown, rodan at ground
level, we should be able to make something of most forward thrusts,
stafford and simmonds are not bad as alternative marking options either,
the forward line dose'nt seem to be the problem to me,
its getting in there quickly to give our forwards the best chance that seems to be our problem.
but thats another story.

GO TIGES. COME ON 2006

*smile* is the obvious answer. At least should be tried.
Either have Richo roaming the HF line and *smile* at FF or leave Richo's aging legs at FF and send Sarge out to CHF.

From memory both you and Tuby have endorsed the same thing re Shultz as a FF and Richo roaming TOO. I personally think it is a good strategy as Shultz is definetly not a backman. Lets hope Terry gets this right.

Maybe we should use Tivendale as our FF next year in an Alistair Lynch role ?

All he needs to do is lead out, mark and kick accurately (which we all know he can do)
