PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Our backline cops a lot of flak on here but for years I've felt sorry for them as they do the hard work to clear the ball only to see it get to our half forward line then turnover and head straight back at them again.

I really think our lack of accountability and the fact we can't hold the ball in there hurts us bigtime and hope it's soemthing that's finally addressed.

I'd like a settled traditional kind of CHF. I don't think Richo's the man for it. Brilliant as he is his strength is is athleticisim and I love to see him free to run and jump. Therefore I'd prefer the big fella as a HFF.

As improved as Kayne was at delivering the ball into our 50 he needs to be far more accountable and stop his opponent clearing the ball so often.

I don't know who'd be the best option as a true CHF seeing we've basically got the same list and nobody has cemented the spot yet.. Does Patrick Bowden play there or do we have a kid ready to slot in?

Would be interested to read others recipes for a more successful Half Forward line than we've had in recent years.
