PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

We don't seem to have the good fortune with Indigenous players that other club's do. Maurice Rioli, Indigenous Team of the Century centreman, is on a pedestal but I can't think of too many other Aboriginal Tigers who have really stood out.

It would be interesting to see a list and how they performed as Tigers.

Maurice Rioli-
1982-87 Games 118. Goals 80. B&F 1982, '83. Norm Smith medalist. 2nd in 1983 Brownlow medal

Phil Egan-
1982-'89 125 games, 117 Goals.

Andrew Krakouer-Handy but didn't live up to expectations. Showed glimpses of magic but never on a consistant basis. Struggled to get a game in 2007 before being delisted. I'd rate servicable but disappointing overall.

Jarrad Oakley-Nicholls-Too early to judge but big expectations

Richard Tambling-Another kid statring out, as with JON above

Carl Peterson-Delisted without playing a game.

Martin McGrath- Had a stellar debut but never backed it up. Delisted without having had a positive impact at the club

I've got a mind blank about another Aboriginal we got from another club but he wanted to go back to Perth.

Please add to the list. :)
