Ins and outs for Weevils game

Cambo, Houlihan and Hall for Pettifer, Fleming and King for mine. Unless it plans on raining, in which case Pettifer and Biddiscombe are out, and Duncan and Cambo come in, whilst Hall and Houlihan miss.

I think Ray might miss one more.

In - Campbell, Houlihan

Out - King, Fleming

They have used Kingy on Cousins previously, so he may keep his spot and Biddiscombe would be shaky.

I wouldnt bring Dunc back at all personally, but the coaching panel will, although i dont think a hard ground in Perth would be ideal when returning from a calf injury

People tend to forget how good Dunc is at getting the hard ball and stopping his opponent, whether it be a taller or smaller player.

In - Dunc, Campbell, Houlihan, Hall
Out - Rogers, King, Pettifer, Biddiscombe. (your time for being piggy backed is over boys ;D I hope you enjoyed the ride.)

I'll keep Vardy in for extra height. I'd even consider throwing in Nicholls aswell if fit. McGrath was named in the bests but I'd doubt very much that he would get a go.

Onya Shawry. ;)

As the newly appointed VP of Matty Rogers Fan Club. I would like to put forward 1 point.

He is given a role every week. Last week against Melbourne it was to negate Adim OhhZay. This job he did very well - OhhZay ended the match with a total of 9 possession.

Matty Rogers did the job he was asked to do (to the letter I might add). What more can he do?

Onya Matt Rogers ;D

DF I agree with your point about WA not being the place to come back from a leg injury... which is bad because isn't what basically all of our blokes being tested this week coming back from? Ideally we would rest all of those guys again for 1 more week but... can we afford to do that? I doubt it.....
If we get through this game injury free I will be ecstatic!

For the upcoming game I'd reakon Campo and Houlihan pretty much pick themselves (presuming they're fit - I got Houlihan wrong on that count last week). Reading the mail on Coburg it doesnt look like anyone else is setting the world on fire and pushng for a spot.

I dont know who'd get the flick, the choices are (I suppose) King, Pettifer, Fleming and Bidders and frankly I'm not sure how to pick between these guys, it would really require an analysis of how they stack up against the Weagles and I hardly know their list. My uneducated guess is Campo for King in the middle and Houlahan for Bidders up front. Pettifer is saved cause he can pinch hit down back (I think) and Fleming because - well I kind of like how he plays and I'm willing to back his future against Kings past.

Rogers had a pretty good one as a stopper and might we worth trying in that role again.

The other choice is Hall. If fit (a big if) we might swap talls (ie lose Vardy) but I suspect we'll actually want to keep them both in (so Richo never has to ruck again - god he's hopeless at that and we can team up on Gardiner) so Fleming would get the chop as we went tall for a short.

If hall comes in then I would reckon Vardy will be omitted. At Subiaco we need runners to rotate so we don't tire out. Richo did some rucking last week to help out Staff. With Razor back he won't have to do that. Campo and Houla are right apparently so going out as well IMO would be king and either pettifer or bidders.

Fleming has done nothing adn cannot kick to a target. I dont see oter than his hardness (and hell be off hte bench anyway so his influence in this dept will be minimal) i dont see the point in keeping him. MAke a skill error against these guys on their turf and they will make us pay.

The Boss has heard that Houlihan will be right for this week but don't be surprised if he comes back thru Coburg (the Coburg reserves as Coburg has a bye this week).

Has The Boss heard any goss on Razor and Duncs chances of selection? ;)

Razor will have to pass a fitness test and Staf is a bit sore but should be right.

Sorry Rosy, no news on Dunc, but I think he may have to play with the Coburg reserves this week to get a bit of run in his legs.

Thats interesting shawry. It really depends what the team needs on a given day. Kayne seems to be a bit of a pet of yours, but has shown (ie Bummers game) that his kicking can leave a lot to be desired too.

Stats against the Demons Sat night.

Fleming Pettifer
33 mins game time 38 mins game time
7 posessions 4 posessions
Out of 50 -2 Out of 50 - 0
Into 50-1 Into 50-0
7 Tackles 4 tackles 1 goal

Shows it really depends on matchups on any given day. That's just an example of two very different style of players.
Get some of our injured players back and both of these would probably be on shaky ground.

I don't envy selectors at all. ;)

P.S. This post has nothing to do with the fact I am proud VP of the Tim Fleming fan club. ;D
