What are peoples thoughts on this issue, to me it seems that since Wayne Campbell and Tony Free have been at the club a year has not gone by with out some sort of Incident taking place.Last Year Tony Free said something and the board was not happy with,Thhis year Campbo is back and there is some sort of disunity with in the playing group.Could maybe and this is a big maybe, that Campbell is getting into peoples ears as he harbors the top job as caoch???

these are just my thoughts

Didn't Wallace do the same to Joyce back at the Bulldogs when he was his assistant???
History might have come to bite him!

I don't know about disunity in the corridors of power, but if the comments made on League Teams, on Fox, last night, are correct, then there seems to be some disunity amongst the playing group of players. It was said that some players wanted TW to go and others did not. Hardly a recipe for onfield unity, if this is true.

Both Shaw and David Parkin said it was useless to have Terry stay on under those circumstances. They agreed his position was untenable. That being the case, maybe he should go, and what would be wrong with having Sheeds see out the rest of the season as a caretaker. He obviously does not want to coach full time again, so he would fit the bill admirably. Just my thoughts. What do the rest of you think?? Not that we have any say in the matter.

The instability is caused by the Pres & Board who are not prepared do anything till after round 11.
Who knows they may even not do anything till after round 22 they may even offer a contract extension.
Carlscum didnt have an issue after the sacking of Pagan and replaced him with Ratts why are we so afraid to get rid of Wally?

Trying to attract a good replacement in the wake of our bad rep for removing coaches.

It's a tough stance that's causing fallout but I admire March for standing resolute.

2 coaches over almost a 10 year period and we stuck with both of them till the end even though both couldnt coach.
We havent broken any contracts. If we had chosen to sack either of them we would still pay them out $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
What more can a prospective coach ask for?

Thats correct but the perception still exists. Its still talked about in the media when they talk about Wallace going.

Exactly right. It's hard yards in the hope of attracting a quality candidate.

Problem is even if Wallet stays on, in the wake of this current turmoil, I am not sure it's going to do much to change folks minds about us.

Campbell has been a stabilising influence since returning. Have no idea about Free. But if we want a coach who understands the modern game, will command respect and doesn't suffer fools or pretenders, then Campbell is the man.

What I cant understand is why we r under the pump yet Collingwood, in virtually the same situation, sneaks under the radar.

They have left Malthouse hanging with no comment but no big beat-ups from the media as they r scared of Big Bad Eddie and the repercussions.

Totally agree. March and co seem to think that sitting on their hands is the appropriate way to react to this crisis. What planet are they on? This farce will drag on until someone taps TW on the shoulder.

Disagree. The Board has been unwavering from the start. mid year review, asses during the split round.

To change that tune now will be seen as weak. A strong board is about the only thing we've got going for us at the moment when trying to find Wallet's replacement. If they see the board is swayed by popular consensus then any decent candidate with another offer will avoid us.

The Board do need to stay strong here.

Agree with this.
