sons an avid bulldog. dont blame me people i did my best anyway ive written him out of the will.anyway for his sake and the fact its been 54 yrs id like to see them win.
i wonder if theres a portent here. they last won a premiership in 54 its 54 yrs since that win.

Every year for too many years, I have had to overlook my allegiance to the Tigers to follow another team in the finals to help keep a minimal interest in events. In doing this, I have developed a rule, which says I will support the team with the longest premiership drought so that that teams long suffering fans might finally get some salvation.

So the Bulldogs for mine, with Saints as second choice.

However, I should add to this that if it is a Cats vs any of Pies, Hawks, Crows or Swans, I'll be going for the Cats.

Seriously Claw, The way you speak about RFC it's no wonder your son has no interest in us.
If my old man sat around bagging the Tiges every 5 minutes there's no way I would've supported them.

LOL, was thinking the exact same thing when I read it....self fulfilling me suspects

Can't see anyone rolling the kitties.

Always go for the underachievers. So Dogs or Saints (Now that Thomas has bitten the dust).
Hope Collingwood and Hawthorn get smacked, the pretenders.

I want the Sainters to get up for Harvey

Edit - May as well scratch the Bulldogs off the list, they may get the 2nd chance, but they're clearly making up the numbers from 3rd place.

I have a soft spot for Footascray so I voted for them and the Pies.

Yep, I'm off to watch the mighty Yinnar Magpies take on the Trafalgar Bloods in the grand final in Morwell this afternoon.
