Don't worry the umps helped Carlton get back in the game. Free kicks at half time 6 for Dees and 12 for Carlton.

So Dees only got 4 more for the half.

You don't see the Tiges make a free kick comeback like the Blues...

Melbourne should have given away 25 freekicks. Holding on, arm chopping, pushing in the back, htb a trying to hold up play ever chance they get which would have been 50m if it was us in 2018-19

Free kick count is more suss when its equal sometimes

If I remember we were 6 minutes into the 3rd quarter when we got our second free kick. Remarkable performance by our blokes when you think about it. No. We don’t want anyone to demean our performance by having us getting free kicks. We would prefer to get none. No free kicks for us. No Sirree Bob!! We want to earn them! Here. No free kicks. No free kicks here!

Yes, l noticed what the Dees were trying to get away with. So I have little doubt that would be with coach King's full knowledge and, most likely, direct instructions.

Now I wonder where he learned that? Where did he bring it from, l wonder. 🤔

I thought someone might mention the frequency of throwing during the COLL v WB game. Panicking under pressure or a deliberate tactic in tight, contested situations? Who knows - but the Bulldogs seemed to throw the ball a lot.

Per usual; been getting away with since before 2016 season. Other clubs have caught up (or caught on!).
It's a joke how players especially try it in pressure, busy boundary side contests where usually umpires will miss due to being 'corridor-side' of the play.
'Out of sight; out of mind' is the view and generally true.
