Some interesting stats to copare the 2 best sides against the tigers, clearly indicates to me that a quality midfield is more important than KPP defenders or fwds.
Interested to hear what others make of the comparisons - stats are 2006 only

Shows Goodwin has had a big year!

Bode plays mostly forward and his tackle count is an amazing stat, Stenglein mostly back (sometimes full back) but can tag in midfield while getting the ball himself. Bowden and Pettifer lots of uncontested marks. Cox & Simmonds are similar players, Richo a bit worse than usual in kicking for goal.

We have no star midfielders but would think that having a gun midfield with poor KPPs, and vice versa are equally undesirable. TW seems to be developing us along the lines of the Bulldogs with less talls and more runners.

Interesting stats Tango.

Just don't understand how the Crows can be ranked 19th in the AFL for your bottom 4 team categories though.

i think its because other teams have tied for positions - thats how the stats are from AFL stats
