Can anybody provide a complete list of players training with RFC at the moment?
Training at Richmond

Richmond:
Al Neville (Box Hill)
Cam Howat (Box Hill)
Harold Calma (NT)
Marc Bullen (Bombers)
Ben Haynes (Bombers)
Marcus Marigliani (Frankston)
James Rimington (Coburg)
Jarrod Silvester (Coburg)
Robert Young (Coburg)

God help us if Cam Howat is related to John.

For those doing the count - we won't be needing two more players to top up after our veterans. We can't afford to put both our veterans on the veteran list, our salary payments will yet again slip below the minimum if we do! Sad really. Most clubs can't wait to get their veterans to help with their salary cap squeeze. I would have said that both wouldn't have made it but I reckon that we really will "capture" a dud in the PSD.

Well at least it isn't like the bad old days - the highest paid duds going around. Its's when you have salary cap troubles and wooden spoon troubles that you know it is time for the admistration to get the heave.

pick 56 or was it 59 in the nd is looking pretty good compared to the psd. miller is now talking about maybe using 4 picks in the nd not taking 56 of the dogs is making him look pretty silly when our next pick is at 70.

Next pick is 72 and your right, they may well end up using it instead. It won't be 72 though.

Several clubs will give up their last pick because they haven't delisted enough players to need it. WC won't draft beyond their 3rd pick, which is late 30s, HAwks will stop with Tuck at 38. Others will pass on their last pick to keep a live pick for the PSD. I expect it will be around 63-66. 59 would still have been better but I guess the reasoning was that if GM took pick 59 he would be forced to use it. HE probably reasoned that getting a pick in the mid 60s instead gave him the extra flexibility and the cost was not that great. Trading for pick 59 would have locked it in.

I am also expecting that players like Heffernan will have to go in the ND. Essendon can't wait until second pick in the PSD for him, it will be too risky. I'll bet the Kangas will try for someone like Cupido in the ND also. They have given every indication that they do not want many (any?) kids this year.

IF the crop of kids is any good this year, there will be plenty available in the last round of the ND and then the rookie draft afterwards and that is where many young hopefuls will be drafted.

Silvester - Rimington and Young OH DEAR these guys are not AFL players i watched em heaps this year in Coburg. What the frig is going on down there at RFC >:(

We could do a lot worse that Bullen, and if he can do whatever the job is that Terry wants him to do then I'll trust his judgement

My guess is that Bullen will get the nod. He is a Terry type....light running outside type player.

what about Lachlan McKinnon

What about someone international?

Jeez Draga - I haven't put on the boots for a while, I am a little unfit, and I wouldn't expect the PSD to be used for a guy trading birthdays with Robert Harvey - but I will do anything for the Tiger cause.

Cant give any guarantees NYT, but come down to training and we'll have a look at you. You're ahead of Haynes in my order of preference anyway.
