Is it 1994 all over again?

Everyone jumping on the Richmond bandwagon... claims that the sleeping giant is about to awake... a new crop of youngsters, a lot of whom have received rising star nominations in their career, consecutive wins against the odds. Deja vu.

Hopefully this new crop have a lot more luck with injury... then maybe we can once again be a powerhouse of the comp.

Great to see the team doing so well, go tiges!

Us Vs them.

The old John Northey tactic eh?
I missed 94-98 seasons living abroad,so I hope I can witness something similar in the next few years.

Great win today wasn't it?

This team is making history of its own - not worrying at all about the previous RFC years which is good to see ;)

Bloody oath Struggs. We would have dominated them even more if we weren't a player, and sometimes 2 down thanks to injuries allowing them to run over us a bit in the second half of each quarter. The way Deledio was going if he played the whole game we'd have won by 10. ;D

The rambling text messages from Leysy and Redford suggest they've celebrated the win with some gusto.
But not altogether suprising a couple of Tasmanians have enjoyed Geelong so much is it??.......I even wonder if they went to the game?? :hihi :hihi

No, badly worded,I was back for the start of 98 and saw the demise of Walls and RFC. :(

Big Difference is.......WE HAVE THE PLOUGH.....

The Tigers of old would have crumbled the last two weeks.

Our attitude has changed for the better.

We got belted by the dogs and came back strong against the saints. The Swans humiliated us and we have moved on, we take it week by week and it is steering us in the right direction.

We have lost to Dogs, Saints, Eagles and Swans - all quality opposition who at the start of the year were shoe ins for the final 8.

The young tigers continue to learn.......and continue to win

This team is being built primarily on skill, and the boys are developing passion. The skill will serve us well on the days where passion alone is just not enough.

The Tigers of 94 played for Northey

The Tigers of 06 play for Wallace and Wallace coaches for themselves.

These kids are writing their own history and what a history it will be.

If you build it they will come!
