Watched WLF on Fox footy on Wednesday.  Terry mentioned that Brett didn't train due to a bit of a 'bug' that he got from the previous night (some Richmond function, forgot what it was).  I then read on another site that said Lids most likely won't be playing.   :(  Can anyone shed some light on this?  Please let this not be true.  :'(

Yeh I heard that too. Terry did say that Lids went to a function for the AIS Football vs Ireland function. He didn't train the following day because he had a bug. Clinton also mentioned that Kevin Sheedy was there and had words in Lids ear. It was all said tongue in cheek. But it certainly raised my brow.

I would expect Lids to be playing.

I would imagine it was something to the effect of "I will be leaking to the media my possible interest in coaching the Tigers at the end of Terry Wallaces tenure (which coincidentally is now the end of your contract, Brett) in 2009. But don't take it too seriously, as it will again be just my way of upping the ante with the Bombers admin, and adding another zero on the end of my coaching cheque at Windy Hill. Surely you don't seriously believe you're like one of my children?"
 
Im sure if he got a virus on tueday night, that he would be able to overcome it in 4 days.
