Is Mark Harvey next to go?

'FREMANTLE chairman Rick Hart says coach Mark Harvey is as "safe as anyone" and hopes to re-sign him after his contract expires at the end of 2010."

Off the HS website.

There is no accounting for taste sometimes I suppose. Seems they expect him to be there 5-7 years to get the job done. Sometimes it's not the answer that's most interesting, but the question.

This makes it look like we at Richmond are getting off lightly :-X

Thought they were slaughtered by umpires at critical times against Geelong. (Who seem to have top team priority from the me in white/orange/red). Young players performed well and take my hat off to harvey, Tarrant in the backline is a good move.

I would delist Schammer midseason. I watch videos of Schammer to give me heart on our disposal, he is surely the worst kick in the AFL and costs them big time despite great endeavour.

On balance I think Harvey will be there next year.

Watched him closely on Sunday and agree 100%. His decision making is just horrific.

Why is that ?
Just my perception TF, not much more than that. Rightly or wrongly I question how bright he might be outside of the pure football stuff.

Williams and Port are going to part company this season if Port are worrying that Richmond and North are getting to much of a headstart they will announce it sooner rather than later, my prediction is within the next 3 - 4 weeks.

I also think the future of Malthouse depends on Ports actions. Collingwood would probably feel confident of being able to woo Buckley from Richmond or North in two or three years time however if he goes to Port they may struggle so if Port and Williams part company Collingwood may move Malthouse on to secure Buckley.
They are set to announce his future by no later than Tuesday 30th June. Mark Williams will be gone. Hardwick will be a certainty to get that job.
