Relax do not get too carried away.Fantastic debut can not take anything away from him but it's early days all we can do is pray!
Do not forget Mcgough had around 30 touches for Collingwood on debut, won the Anzac medal and now he can not get a run.

Here here bicky, give the chook some time to settle into the squad.
In saying that, after being at the game and then watching the replay twice now, I do liken his hand skills to Simon black in his prime. From 17 h/b's, 16 found their target. Of those 16, 5 or 6 were under pressure of tackles. Of those 5 or 6, 2 h/b's actually found a richmond player when Deano was unsighted.....eg. Hand ball behind the head where only his awareness would enable him to know where the richmond player was - a skill that can't be coached IMO......Newmo thinks we're on a winner!
Good foot skills also and excellent composure shown with every stat. Positions himself well around contests and seemed to read the play fantastically.

Maybe if he wins a brownlow you can say he is comparable. At the moment not even close, just on experience, gamews, medals and premierships.. Signs were good last week and I like the look of him but I agree with another poster, let Polo be the new Polo and make his own way in the AFL world.
