Not sure how true this is but I have been told that Deledio to put it nicely is not a fan of Wallace. Anyone else heard this??
I just can't believe what we've seen/heard today:commonsense said:what is that venting all about ?
Sir said:I just can't believe what we've seen/heard today:
(a) the media are SCUM! this stroy was their concuction (HUN) and now they all go into bat trying to defend the fact that they reported a rumour and not news!
(b) unfortunately where there is smoke there is fire
(c) therefore - if it is true that the players didn't like the post match spray at Morton!!! BAD LUCK! This tears my heart out! I can not believe that players are this sensitive
(d) this therefore lends itself to my longest held fear - that it's not TW taking us to ruin - but an insidious bunch of over paid / over hyped / unskilled / unintelligent prats who have their own self interest above that of the club!!
What happens this weekend?
Who plays - who doesn't - who is making the decision - is Newman now Captain/Coach???
FFS this is the darkest day in RFC history.

If he got personal, he has nothing to lose in telling some home truths.
Just on this - if true, I can understand. The pressure of being an elite footballer, the constant scrutiny, the constant losing and selection merry-go-round, and this is all happening to a group of highly competitive young men out to prove they are invincible stars who can win premierships. Yes, most players on our list believe the team has the talent to win flags in teh near future. When we go on a losing streak like this, then yes you are more sensitive than usual, your competitive nature turns you into a beast.
Thanks CS, not sure what to believe these days.commonsense said:smoking aces I know that is untrue
The Mighty Wozman said:There is a core group that has played a distinctive role in recent times in undermining both other players and the coaching staff. All I will say is that like the 90s scenario, some of these players are on Marquee dollars, have stern attitudes, but have been playing very inconsistent football.
And the make things worse, this group has had the audacity to bemoan recent inclusions and droppings from the Seniors - like they deserve an opinion.
The Mighty Wozman said:I have bad memories of the days when Daffy, Campbell, Gale, Knights, and a couple of others ruled the club. Some were on marquee contracts....Some choked on the big stage...Some hated Walls because he tried to take them on an told them some home truths...The Giesh was more compliant - he backed down and allowed the mediocrity to fester....
I don't start stuff like this but a friend of mine that is close to the club informed me that a similar clique is ruling this group - complaining about the coach; complaining and backstabbing players that are and are not getting a game; moaning about what players are getting paid and contract extentions; blaming others for their poor form and so on.
Based on this - our next coach has to do a Blight and get rid of this dead wood. I never thought I would say this but does Richmond need an autocratic coach?

Christ, aren't they just doing what we've been begging somone at RFC to do ?
