His confidence will be OK I think. He seems a very down to earth bloke, ready to learn from his mistakes while raring to go at the same time. He really impresses me when he's around small kids too. He's a favourite at all the clinics.
Comparing Jack to Hart is like comparing jake king to Kevin Sheedy of the 70's. Ridiculous comparisons. The quicker people stop it the better for Jack, RFC and themselves.
I have nothing against jack being dropped. He came out, didn't play a Polo like debut blinder, so he's back where he belongs with a wealth of knowledge. he now knows what it takes to play there and he's got the ideal platform to learn a few more tricks before his next game in the firsts.
I thought Terry was picking the side for the team we're playing each week as well as rewarding and demoting. Also in the halcyon years of the late 60s and 70s our U 19s and Reserves were playing in and winning finals. They learnt how to play for and with each other.
(As for complaining about 25 years of no success. We are all sick of it too, the exception now being we have an Admin and Coaching staff who have formulated a plan for sustained success, no more quick fixes. )
