Been watching some of our Coburg boys at North Ballarat. Kingsley is "playing"...if that is the word to use....and could not believe he has number 68 on his back. How can anyone carry such a big number...what a load to carry?

Would this be the biggest number ever? maybe Phantom would know. BTW, looks like Simmo got through OK and Jumping Jack Riewoldt has done well. The game is not over as I type. Had to stop watching as the umpires have crucified Coburg. Frees were 28 to 17 at 3/4 time and they were getting heaps again in the last quarter. Could not bear to watch.

P Bo played in 71 the day he kicked 5 goals for the Burgers.

Interesting also to see on the Coburg list that Simmonds is listed as having the 68 number, not Kent. I think Simmonds is in 18, which is listed as Kent's number.

In the DAFL (www.dafl.dk) we struggle for guernseys and over the years clubs build up numerous sets of jumpers and we get duplicate numbers. So blokes use coloured tape to make them un-unique. So we get alot of numbers like 71, 111, (enhanced with digits that are easy to make with the tape).

Highest number i've yet seen is 1112.
