It seems there is a lot of blaming the players going on. I just can't see how it is justified.
Maybe who we should be blaming is the man at the top - Terry Wallace. He picks the side, he studies the opposition, he is responsible for match-ups. Yet he seems not to be getting any flak.
You may argue that he is only in his second of five years and that it will take that long, but that means he has had two drafts to clear out the dead wood and two pre-seasons to mould the team in his vision. Before that he was heavily involved in the media, so was well aware of the side's capabilities even before Frawley got the sack.
In that light then I feel Wallace has to shoulder some of the blame. He is the one who has kept players that maybe shouldn't be at the club (according to other posters (not necessarily my opinion)), and is the responsible for picking these players week after week.
I don't want to blame Wallace, and I don't want to blame the players. I have already stated that I think this was an abnormal result. This is just open for discussion.
