In Shepp, we scored 170 odd points. I cannot remember the last time that happened.
My personal view is that if Richo had played yesterday, while he would have likely kicked 6-8 goals on a substandard opponent, the team as a whole would not have scored anything like 170 points. Reason being that most of the other goal kickers that did score goals at Shepp would have not got anywhere near the ball.
The time is ripe (and Shepp proves it) that Richo should not enter the 50m arc. That should be the domain of Shultz (if he stays forward), Deledio (when resting), Staff, Petts, Brown, Krak and Patterson/Hughes/Limbach.
Putting Richo up there makes us too predictable and will eliminate most of our goal scoring options. With Wallace, we now have more options. Lets use them!!
Am I nuts or do I make some sense?
