Does anyone else think the trade week is turning into a bit of a shambles? Firstly a week.... a week ffs is their any specific reason for 4 days of speculation when blind Freddy can see all that happens is the powers that be run in a frenzy for a few hours on the Friday morning.
Why all of a sudden in trade week do players just looking for a decent go at another club all of a sudden get noticed by the club they are trying to leave? It seems this year more so than ever any player wanting out of somewhere is automatically worth a first round pick....
I would like to see trade week become trade days ( 2-3 max) more of clubs trying to get players to clubs of choice which apart from the Power/Stevens/Pies deal and the Rawlings wanting out of hawks I think has been happening.
At the height of the Frawley rabble, all season I would wait for trade week (knowing all september I'd be watching a tiger free finals series) I guess when times are tough I looked to that week for a fix which never came. As the years have passed I would rather turn all forms of info off and hope at the end of the week we still have a first round pick.
Move on the hacks and bring out the cubs.
