okay people i know it collingwood but theres a bigger picture to be considered here. its unbelievable that maxwell got 3 weeks for a legitamite bump on mcginnity. it was a fre kick nothing more. you had a player with the ball in the vicinity you had a bump that basically hit him down the side the elbow and arm stayed in until after the bump. contact was caused because you had a tall player run into a shorter player and some head contact was made free kick only end of story. sheesh i would hate to see one of our players get rubbed out for something like this.
now i know ferals are going to bleat and carry on because it was just a collingwood player but bloody hell what if the shoe is on our foot. theres a bigger picture here and itgoes beyond club rivalry. to me we might as well outlaw any sort of physical contest and put skirts on the lot of them thats what its come to.
