Following the various media dribs and drabs, the Pagan issue is yet to be resolved .
Apparently:
• Fraser Brown was behind funding the sacking of Pagan;
• Mitchell coveted Pagan’s job with a serious presentation;
• The Carlton Board seriously considered this – may even have agreed in principle;
• Pagan desperately needed someone with Carlton background on his team – Silvagni!
• Until yesterday afternoon – Silvagni had not yet agreed – it was conditional;
• Condition included getting Gubby Allen from Brisbane;
• Gubby Allen is still contracted to Brisbane;
• Cresswell left Brisbane with no place to go????;
• The Carlton Board re-confirms Pagan as coach;
• Gleeson resigns as Board member
• Kernahan considers his position after changing his support for Mitchell to Pagan.
Geez, isn’t it great this is not Richmond for once! ;D
