oh deary me shock horror another belting. sheesh one could see it coming from a mile off.

i suppose we will get more than one change this week.
it really pisses me of that the only time the club makes serious change is in a reactive way, usually after a belting.
they were happy last week after a deplorable effort because they got close on the scoreboard. they were deplorable again today but didnt get close on the scoreboard. im wondering just when they will finally change direction access players accurately and banish them never to be seen again.

i called for about 5 or 6 changes for this week but every man and his dog wanted to reward the mediocrity well you got what you deserved.

once again white tambling bowden edwards graham jackson king schulz simmonds morton were terrible. its time whoever is running the show said ENOUGH. mediocrity wont be tolerated. substandard kicking skills in particular wont be tolerated. poor decision makers wont be tolerated, skinny undersized players wont be tolerated especially if their size prevents them from having an impact. unaccountable footballers will not be tolerated.

young players will take preference over all others we will find out quickly if they can play or not.

its time to change the culture and the way we go about things. from this point forward getting games into our juniors is all that matters.
claws ins for this week would be from post, collins, nahas, browne, connors, thomson, coughlan, thursfield, would be looking at a minimum of 6 changes
outs where does one begin.schulz edwards jackson king bowden graham tambling and any number of others.graham aside all the others have been around long enough for the club to expect better and certainly the club should be sending the message loud and clear what they dished up will not be tolerated anymore.

exactly claw!

But our club has the tenacity of a slug!

The bleeding hearts will prevent this club from going forward and next week we will see new lows!

It amazes me why we persist with the pathetic insipid performances weak afte weak and year after year

Pure and simple there is not one person at Punt Road who knows where we are going! Noone.

Gary march act now or you too will go by the wayside

We ARE the worst club in the AFL and that is a fact....stats dont lie and Terry you are the worst coach I have ever seen and not one thing can change my mind....even the stats support this.

The bloody president should be worried about his own future too not just Wallace's.He's a so called life long Tiger supporter,if he is bleeding like we are then show us

I think Claw is starting to make sense to me. Sometimes I thought he was a bit harsh, but this tiger is reaching the end of her patience too. :o

Totally agree Claw. Enough is enough. These blokes get chance after chance yet they show us the same old crap. This club has lacked the balls too make the hard call. This is what inevitably will lead to the the downfall of Wallace. Had he taken the hard approach 5 years ago then maybe we wouldnt be in this predicament.

He waited a year to play Rance. Yes the kid has some flaws but he busted his gut today. He played for the jumper. He was still doing the one percenters with 2 minutes to go, whilst everyone else had given up an hour earlier.

How long before Collins is given a go?

Don't worry claw, after 40 possessions at Coburg, Jordy will be back and be the matchwinner next week.........

Tambling Edwards and maybe even Schulz should be traded for picks at season end to GC17 or some other sucker club that wants them.
King should just plain *smile* off.
Im sick of defending our *smile*, I really am.
Tambling you were a waste of a pick look what we could have had it makes me sick to know.
Edwards you are classes below AFL standard go back to the VFL and stay there but credit to you for having a go youre just not up to scratch.
Schulz we've persisted with you for seasons and its gotten us no where time to move on.
King youre a deadset spastic, you have a go, but you cant play footy for sh!t.
Bowden mate its time to hang up the boots the game has gone past you at a million miles an hour.
Deledio and Browny show some *smile*in heart you have all the skill in the world but its worth nothing if you dont apply yourself properly.
Well done to Richo and Foley I truly do feel sorry for yous giving it your all week in week out with nothing to show for it.
One positive is Rance will be a gun.
AND I JUST SEEN WHAT WALLACE SAID IN THE POST MATCH PRESS CONFERENCE YOU ARE A DEADSET *smile*ING IDIOT HE PRETTY MUCH SAID THAT HE WENT INTO THAT MATCH EXPECTING TO LOSE *smile* OFF YOU GOOSE GET BUCKLEY TO PUNTROAD NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree with everything except I think White was ok made some mistakes but never stops trying and can still improve further

Do we recruit players who can't kick. I think not.
The problem is the players execution.
But where do they get the perceived pressure from?
Terry coached well but was completely let down by the players.

The players should front the supporters and do a please explain.

Well said Claw- has taken me a while but after round 1, I came around to your way of thinking. Some of the players you mentioned are never going to do much for us, as their kicking skills are appalling and the decision making is not much better. Jackson, King, Bowden, Raines, Simmonds, Edwards, Schulz, regular selections in the Ones just cannot cut it and yet they are picked week in week out.

Time to take a chance and play many more youngsters. Just listening to SEN, gee the supporters are bleeding tonight and "On the Couch" and "Footy Classified" will make for interesting viewing with Wallace on OTC and Caroline Wilson to cop a real whack from Grant Thomas based on his comments on SEN.

I had never thought much of Grant Thomas until he started on SEN but gee he is intuitive at times. He simplified one of the main issues with our useless side side. We need to get the footy, move it on quickly and then boot it long to the forward line- it worked in the first quarter but then we go back to "chippy chippy" rubbish where we go backwards and sideways.

He also said during the call of the game "please Terry, give me 10 minutes with Tambling during the week". He obviously thinks something is clearly amiss with Tambling and believes it is not being addressed. Hard to argue with that based on todays effort.

Lost the faith I am afraid

Gotta say, I tend to agree. Driving home I was thinking, that it gets to a point when in certain situations you just have to make a courageous decision. For want of a better expression, "put a line in the sand" and say enough is enough. It can't be tolerated anymore. I used to leave games and drive home in a foul mood, swearing at the radio, defending or abusing players, but now I'm beginning to feel all the more non-plussed about results like this. Is it just that I've come to expect it after so many years. I don't know. I will continue to support my beloved Tigers to the day I die but it is ingrained in me. The problem is that it isn't so much ingrained in a lot of our junior supporters or those supporters on the periphery (sic), which we are now in danger of losing. Please Tiges, make the call. No more accepting of this. Act now.

I think they did the right thing giving him a year in the 2s. Sometimes better to give them some time, rather than throwing them to the wolves too early. The only positive I got from the game.

Think Collins will get the nod for next week.

Clearly shows how one successful coach knows what to do about Tambo's faults and Wallace doesn't after 5 years.

wont happen. It means the club has to stand up and admit they got most of their draft picks wrong.
