PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

We are now the laughing stock of the AFL by a long way and I have a sickening feeling that it might get even worse over the next few weeks. It annoys me how little presence some of our senior players have.

For example:

1) Richo got pushed around by that hack O'Halphin in round 1. (Richo was scared)

2) Pettifer gets bashed every week because the opposition know he is scared.

3) Commentators love taking this *smile* out of us because we are scared.

4) Opposition supporters love taking the *smile* out of us because we are scared.

5) Not one senior player over the last 3 years has stood up and taken a few scalps with him.

6) Tuck is a man mountain, but has he ever hurt anybody?

We are whimps!

I'm sure other people can add more to those points so I wont go on anymore. If our senior players cant draw a line in the sand right now and show some blood and guts, then get rid of them and bring on some kids who will.

ARE YOU WHIMPS OR ARE YOU PROUD MEN?

Richmonds supporters are the toughest and meanest looking supporters in the comp, yet our side plays like netballers. It's hard to take! No wonder there are so many crowd fights at Richmonds games.

When you look at some of the better premiership sides over the last couple of years you will see they were feared.

Brisbane
Essendon
Westcoast
Swans

All these teams had a physical presence about them.

Melbourne have the same problem as Richmond, talent but no presence. When I played football I was taught to make them earn it, It seems that the Richmond team of today are happy to sit back and watch them take it away.

This was never Jack's plan!
