One of the hardest things of coaching as opposed to playing is getting back off the floor and being enthusiastic at training even after you’ve been gutted by a big loss.

Players need to feel that their coach still believes in them, even when the coach would like nothing more than to trade half of them for a pile of magic beans.

agree with you on that comment, walle$ will get his 2.5 mill over the 5 years or what ever fee it was and hes just there for the $ nothing more nothing less , so i would be smiling as well , because he now pretty much knows whatever happens this year he will be there in 2009 coaching.

Next year is a win-win situation for him after making that statement yesterday, but it's a waste of a year for the club if significant progression isn't shown by August 2009.

I think you underestimate the size of Terry's ego.
