What's a fridgemantle? Remind me never to get one. Hope you are wrong Nitro. I still think Connolly is the worst coach I have ever seen.

Agree on the coach,

However some of their youngsters have really come on.

Mundy, Johnson, Peake, Duffield(to a lesser extent).....................

They have a very good list at the moment, and a lot of players we thought might have struggled to get a game this year stepped up and played very well.

Farmer, McManus(everyone thought he was gone),Grover,Parker

Great list with their old and young stepping up.

Still think the coach is useless, and beleive the rumour that the players had most to do with the turnaround.

Im with ya there rrofo mate......Id like to stand in front of Connoly and watch him eat his fish and chips......frozen and uncooked..........
I reckon the arrival of Mark harvey and robert Shaw has a lot to do with where the team sits at the minute......cheers!

P.S.....My explanation for Fridgemantle?
Get rid of the "d"and the "e"and therein lies your answer mate! :hihi
 
might be for the best if freo win it. then the afl will be happy because all the interstate teams have one a flag and then they might start looking after the traditional clubs a little more...
