the main issue is jon didn't look out of place out there. with a bigger body and experience he is going to be a very good player for richmond in the future

Totally agree with your points;
Wasn't phased by the occassion, although his first kick close to the boundary line would have been tough for any first gamer; Bigger body & experience, this kid is ideal for TW's future game plan; A tall wingman, working hard up & down the ground - Find me a match-up taller enough and with the right endurance.

Perhaps harry. I'm confident that they'll both be at least good, but I reckon that based purely on the law of averages, one will be a superstar, dunno which.

Nah Richie is still a few years off delivering....and when he does the entire league will be in shock!! Will be the best indigenous player to date....big statement but i stand by it. If you have seen his junior highlights my god you will give this kid as much time as he needs.

.....JON will be a star aswell ;)

JON looked a bit bulkier than I expected a 188 cm 75 kg player to look.

I would not be surprised if he has put on a couple of kilos since the official stats came out. Still has a few more kilos to go before he can be officially referred to as "burly."

On tambling saw him at subi v the weagles his decision making and skills were first rate his chase and ability to one grag above his head when on a fast lead were the standouts...only had about 1doz possies but they were all quality.
His main improvement on the what I saw of him last year is his clean handling in tight  and a committment to to put his body in unlike last year where he seemed to run past a contested ball stick out one hand and hoping it would stick. He is no extractor in the mould of a cogs or sammi mitchell but his strength is similar to that of judd in and out with clean hands as best demonstrated  a couple of times in the back half against the blues

You could be on the mail there Harry.

How about supporting it with a few ideas as what gives you that indication?

Harry you are compaing an inside midfielder with an outside runner!

This is like comparing Tuck with Tivvendale two totally different players. Richie gets his own ball and therefore he is going to take a bit longer to develope as he needs to develop his strength.

Both will be reat players for RFC in two totally different roles

two totally different rolls

yeah I've heard RT likes cheese and vegemite, while JON is more your sardines and tomato sauce kind kind of bloke.

I'd give JON and Richie both another run this week as well as Cleaver why not its time for the kids ;)

Keep playing the kids TW :clap

Who knows?
Theyre both kids and different types.

Why draw the comparison at all, except to stir up a hornet nest?

I agree, Dirty Harry wants to make everyone's day, without backing it with facts. ::)

neithe rof them will be anything special

im guessing 100 150 games easily hold there position but never hit the heights of a top class player

why do we need to make statements to the effect of one been better than the other, shouldnt we all be hoping that they both turn out to be great RFC players that go on to contribute to the rise again of the MIGHTY TIGERS....sorry some people just like causing s..t for the sake of it...  ::)

Got any basis whatsoever for that statement?
