Jack was not only a great tiger, but also a De La boy. He would be vomiting violently in heaven at the way we have lost so often without a whimper. It is insulting to his legacy.
Please do not raise issues like this…
So often...Without a whimper??
Yes, we have lost often but not without a whimper. In all but two games we have either lead or been in a position to win. Other than two blow-outs (Geelong and Port Power) we have given a good and promising account of ourselves.

So, Mr. La De La, I think you may be over exaggerating.
By the way..I never barracked for De La Salle on "It's Academic" either.
And for what it is worth..I heard the boy, I couldn't work out the theory, but liked his plucky spirit.
