Jack Dyer and 2008

Heard a ripper little boy on SEN earlier. He has a theory that we are losing because Jack Dyer has made a bet with God that Richmond will win the Grand Final in 2008. Not sure how that works, but gotta love the kids spirit, and heres hoping Capt Blood collects

Not the kid, I was referring to our players! Kids are great, and Jack was great with kids. he visited De La a number of times while I was a student there.

But the performances of our players are sickening, and should not be discussed in the same post as Jack's name...

dont try and evade like that. You said "dont raise issues like this", and it was a post about a kid thinking Jack Dyer made a bet with God that RFC would win in 2008. No mention of players at all.

Yes, we have lost often but not without a whimper. In all but two games we have either lead or been in a position to win. Other than two blow-outs (Geelong and Port Power) we have given a good and promising account of ourselves.

By the way..I never barracked for De La Salle on "It's Academic" either.


And for what it is worth..I heard the boy, I couldn't work out the theory, but liked his plucky spirit.
