Jack Reiwoldt,,,whaddyasreckon?

Not tall enough for KPP and not quick enough for a flanker role at the moment. So unsure where he'll be best suited yet. It takes fully three years to build the combination of strength and endurance needed for this level of competition so expect a year of consolidation from Jack. Could be horses for courses scenario with Jack. Play him if we can get a favourable match up. Possibly mix and match with *smile* at FF??

He's already taken a couple of grabs, one notably against Mal Michael where his body use was so good he almost took it uncontested in the end, not through strength, but through the right touch at the right time.

I remember noticing that at the time Frick. He showed some real quality in that contest. It's not something that can be taught or practiced either - you either have it or you don't, and it seems JR has it.

I saw a bit of Jack in his earlier days.

He has always struck me as a real 'impact' player - the sort of kid who won't touch the ball for 3 quarters but will then take 5 hangers, kick 4 goals and win the game in the dying minutes. Then everybody raves about his performance while the CHB with 16 marks and 32 touches gets left in the corner ..

He will be a really good footy player who attracts plenty of attention from opposition and supporters. And he knows how to take a contested grab which is what will make him a CHF despite his height. I just have trouble believing he will ever be consistent.

Is brave and arrogant and loves a chirp out on the field. Loves to be physically challenged and thrives on competition.

Just needs to slowly get stronger and bulk up and develop his endurance.

That is what we lack, refreshing to hear. That has been my major points on JR all year, he longs for the contest.

I think Daniel Connors is like this and maybe Daniel Jackson as well. Connors has more game to back it but Jackson has that spirit and more important the body to do it.

We need more of this type, a lot more. And it would be even nicer if we could a KP that has this approach. Maybe Robbie Tarrant, maybe.

Richmonds next CHF.

I just hope you are right Bobby because we haven't had a decent player in that position since dim sims were 15 cents each.

I feel the same way too. The kid has more bark than bite. It's too early I know. Only time will tell.

What! You disappointed he didn't set the world on fire already?
He's played his first season of footy, try just leaving him alone and letting him play for a while before we all line up and start hanging *smile*.
