17 possessions and 7 marks on the weekend. Although he didn't kick any goals, it was easily the best game he's played.
He looks a bit slow, but its easy to forget he's 192cm (eg taller than Thursfield)! Lead to the right spots and presented well.

The thing I like about him is that as he adjusts to the pace of the game, it's obvious he has a football brain.
There were a couple of times he brought contests to our advantage by out tricking the defender. Eg. in a scrap with his defender he did a 1m 'touch' kick towards a teammate who was in better position to get the ball.

His limitation may be that he is never be dominant athleticall, and thus can be shut down. What he lacks in speed, he may be able to make up for with his phsique and leap as he looks the ideal sort to add quite a bit of muscle. If he does become good one on one ... watch out, we have a champ on our hands.

I want to say how happy I was with Jack that he backed up his good game v Freo with another creditable performance agianst the Dogs. He is a smart footballer and the goal he kicked in the last quarter when he was at the front of the pack showed he knows where to be. The question marks about him being slow, I don't know if I agree with as he seems to cover a lot of ground, working hard making leads to the wing and sometimes deeper. I think that Jack must stay a fixture in the side for the rest of the season. Well done Jack!

He should only play when he deserves it.

Dont let anyone get ahead of themselves, otherwise we will turn to poop

So far this year everyone is going 95% plus
so we dont have many weak links

i remember that chase it was fantastic!

shame the tele never quite captured it as the camera was on the player with the ball and it really didnt do justice to the effort he put in.

ditto for tamblings run down too. both resulted in putting pressure on the ball carrier and who in turn clangered :clap

All this talk about being slow!! Ryan O'keefe is a gun forward who isn't fast, just covers a sh!t load of ground in his lead up role. If jack can build up his motor he may be able to play a similar role.

Disagree Billy. This should apply to the more experienced guys but the kids who are showing signs of improvement should be given every chance to get a block of seniors game under their belt.
These kids are still questioning in their minds whther they will make it and bouncing them up and down between seniors and reggies can harm their confidence.
In Jack's case, the kid should play the yar out as long as he keeps showing the endevour and spirit he has isplayed in his past two efforts.
