Can't believe they are trying to rush him back.
It took me 2 months to get movement in my thumb after breaking it.
I know Jack is a freak but 15 days after surgery.
He should be the new Solo man
im withu zig.

Just saw Jack's interview about Dusty on AFL 360.

Geez, he's a legend. He set Robbo and Whately into stunned, self aware, silence. Was simple, respectful, down the line and had his mates back.

Basically said 'It's all well and good to show that we respect player welfare, but now we have to do it with the face of AFL footy. It's going to be interesting to see who in the media has morals, and who doesn't.'

Both the talking heads just gawked at him for a good 5 seconds of dead air, then moved straight to talking to the Bont.

That's the way to shut down the dumb questions and actually set a precedent which will be of benefit to Dusty. Legend.
Yep, was brilliant, moreso because it was sincere.

Don't mind the idea of CHB for Jack, its a much easier role in many ways. Could bring back the halcyon days of Knights/VanDerHar fighting to outmark each other. Tell Jack to keep trying to mark it. Rance ended up a gun one on one mark.

Loved the look of the Lynch/Balta forward line though.

Like the idea of Jack further up the ground using his vision and skills. Not sure where that is.

I love your post Coburg. didnt watch it of course but Jack is super smart - on and off the field. What a way to see who has some spine.

I will miss Jack almost as much as I'll miss Dusty. Love them both.
Jack's harshly treated on this site at times, and out in the 'real world' too - but is a genuine A grade operator.

Skin infection post surgery - in doubt.
Listed as in the squad on the news n ten seconds later they announce he's got an infection n probably won't play. Bloody joke, just give him an extra week off n let the youngsters enjoy themselves without stressing over possibly being pushed out of the side after one game.

2019 GF, JR8 kicking for goal, outside 50m, inside 50m, on an angle, left, right, bang, bang all through the middle! All time great!

The emergence of Balta has made it difficult for Jack. which is the perfect scenario for the future.

Is this the first time Maddie's match will be minus both Riewoldts?
Jackmond will be crestfallen. And Nick prob happy he ain't playing.
Cmon you Tiges, get it done for Jack.

Really trying to work out where Jack fits if he comes back into the team as forecast.
If he plays forward does Balta now go back to cover Grimes?
If so I'm ok with that I guess but would seem a backward step in Noah's development as a forward.
I'd prefer Nyuon or Miller as Grimes replacement.
Maybe Soldo goes out & Balta is forward/ruck? That's a good balance if so.

Could have played last week but they obviously left him out another week to have a look at life post JR.
I'll be interested to see what happens with the champ. Too good to leave out but one eye on the future..

As long as that footy brain is still ticking over, he plays. Sure he's not the dominant force he once was, but there were a few laughable comments in the match thread.

His kicking is a bit of a worry. Seems to have little confidence in his drop punt. What's he doing trying to kick a snap after the siren from that angle?

Cut his some slack for first game post injury, but I thought he looked so slow tonight.

And has lost distance on his kick, OUTRAGEOUS 50m Torp aside.
