Likely to miss 3-5 weeks badly twisted ankle, ligament damage

All sprained ankles are ligamental injuries.

Depends on the degree of strain or tear sustained.

Re: Jack Riewoldt

Pavlich in space up one end vs Jack in congestion up the other.

One kicks 6, the other 1.

There's the game.

But zips says he's screwed? Who to trust...

Hasn't missed a game in over three years. It'd take a lot to keep him out.

Touch and go between Zips and Larkins who is the more accurate.

Re: Jack Riewoldt

Couldn't walk after the game, very little chance next week, but he should be able to get back for the Adelaide game IMO.

Comparing Reiwoldt's ankle injury to Foley without any medical evidence is one of the more ridiculous posts I have seen on here in all of my 8 years.

Re: Jack Riewoldt

I think he has really suffered with Vickery being injured and out of form.
With no other dangerous forward, opposition defenders can create two and three on ones, which are incredibly hard to win unless you are on the move and jumping at the footy.
May need to have a plan b and rejig the forward line to allow jack one on one contests more often. How this is done, well i don't know, but that's also why I am not a coach.

Re: Jack Riewoldt

THe Crows switch of Rutten and Talia worked a treat for them. Still like to see him get more on the lead but not sure our game plan affords him space consistently

Re: Jack Riewoldt

Gee I would like to see him playing with a decent tall.

Kicks three, the Crows collaspe on him after quarter one and not one tall can find space or take a mark.

It's hard work being a one out forward in an avertage side.

It's not rocket science, if there are three blokes on riewoldt then there are two of our guys free. We just played really dumb football for three quarters today and were beaten by the better and smarter team. Didn't like Jack going crook at players upticks a few times today - reminded me of richo. Jack should have been paid a mark in the last, I stead the umpires in their infinite wisdom called play on and I think it went up the other end and they scored a goal. Would've been 1pt the difference had jack slotted it and could've changed the outcome of the game. Oh well, sh!t happens (has done for about thirty years now).

yeah, it is frustrating to watch. Unfortunately Beavis got owned in regards to that.

Disgree, despite the media BS over the years, richo was right to go crook on players who delivered it like crap year after year. I don't have a problem with Jack remindinhg players if they don't follow team rules, and basic common sense, when delivering it forward. Again today ( after the first 1/4)we had so many deliveries into to the forward 50 that were just appalling. Even Dwayne Russel noticed it. Why shouldn't Reiwoldt point it out?
