Don't worry about Jack.

With Rivers and garland forward, He'll only have to compete with Frawley. Granted, Frawley usually does the job, but Mcguane and Derrickx will hopefully be competitive enough to cause defensive headaches for Melbourne.

Back Jack in for 10 goals.

some good marking from Jack today, particularly in the 3rd. Good signs i reckon. Unfortunately his kicking was off otherwise he would have finished amongst our best.

Yeah I thought he owned Chip, for a change. One of Jack's better games, apart from the kicking, obviously.

Should have kicked 5 today. Took some nice contested marks against Frawley which isnt an easy task.

His 2 worst kicking games or the year have been against Melbourne.

No matter how well he plays on Frawley, he just can't kick goals on him.

Not just saying this because he kicked 1.5 today, but I have always thought jack's reputation as a good kick for goal is a complete myth. I'm always nervous when he shoots for goal... Confidence is the key for jack

Check out his stats for 2010, 2011 if you want your myth busted. Jack is a good kick for goal, but like every other forward playing the game, he's had some lean stretches.

A lot of his shots at goal today were from tight angles.

Missed one from about 40 mtrs out, slight angle that he would normally kick with his eyes closed.

SOLID.

Contested ok but bad kicking is bad football.
What the heck was that banana kick from the half forward line?
Bring your kicking boots next week Jack, you're paid to kick goals.

Doesn't help when he leads deep in the pockets all the time giving himself hard shots.

Took some good marks and couldve kicked a bag but still not overly impressed with Jack, not leading upto the ball enough and also playing some selfish footy especially when kicking for goal from boundary when better options inside. Defensively could get better too

Took some superb marks today, haven't seen him really pluck incredibly strong marks all season. He outplayed Frawley for the first time, if he kicked straight he would have had a day out.
