Complete shocker but not worth the risk going to the tribunal. Just hope it doesn't blow up in our faces next season. Will really *smile* me off if it does. Gutless of the AFL, by making it a reprimand there is no way we'll challenge it which makes this joke of a report legitimate. Football's so soft now days.

Laughed that Sheehan has now jumped on the Wallace band wagon and accused Vlad of not being able to admit his mistakes. I am tipping Vlad was the kid that got smacked around by the bullies at school ;D Bet he kept a Bullworker under his bed. ;D
Where in the rules is this listed as an illegal tackle? All he did was pick up the ball carrier and drop him on his side. Every tackle in the NRL is the same. No wonder they think we play a girl's game up north.
Almost worth contesting this just on principle.

Yeah probably should have used one gus but not much makes me smile about the AFL at the moment. ;D

Funny you say about up north. In AFL now, you can't touch a players back, anything above the shoulders & you are gone, anything below the waist is a trip(unless you are D.Fletcher) & now a player being dumped on his side is rough conduct. That only leaves a front on tackle like rugby, oh but ho shirtfronts - thats a charge. Just make the game non-contact & be done with it. No confusion then.

Don't forget ...... you can't tap the opponents arms when attempting to mark either - but I believe eye gouging is still do-able ;D
What a joke of a decision. For those who have access to a recording or replay go back and take a look. A free-kick yes, a report that is upheld by the match review, c'mon.
