Got way bigger problems than the likes of Aartsy or Georgie having an inept moment when games are on the line. There's a hell of a lot of " senior " players performing poorly that puts us in the desperate position of having to rely on kids or fringies to save us late in games.

He was stiff. Worked hard to get in right position. He didn't expect the north player to be there. He wanted to increase the odds of kicking the goal. To blame him is ridiculous.

Jack's missed snap was poor. When we ht the front Shai had an unpressured shot from 45 that he should have nailed, that dusty would have nailed. There the moments the very best shine.

So many critical errors from senior players all game, to put it on Aarts is ridiculous. As it was to put it solely on george last week. Our senior players have let us down, not our fringe.

MRJ was terrible in the two's, is a one trick pony. Can run and chase, but can't kick over a jam tin, has no aerial presence, and is a poor reader of the game (is not first to the ball).

He's a trier and loves the RFC, does Jake and I think he is a very good VFL player.

But the club needs better at the top level.

Aarts just wasn't cool enough, and Jack and Shai and others were drunk on their own coolness.

it amounts to lazy football, and bad kicking is bad football.

foot + ball = kicking. fundamental to thee game.

Unlikely to hear of too many blokes doing a Castagna as he is so outrageously in his own stratosphere with the stunts he pulls.

As terrible as it was and we can openly and somewhat respectfully discuss our opinions and frustration on a fan Forum like this i hate the trolls who have targeted him on Instagram with abusive PM's so much that he had to close his account.

Worst thing about social media is that any troll can be a non-Richmond fan. Too many d-heads in this world.

That is the low standard of the callers today. Good at cheap shots at people who are nor able to defend themselves but little else

I quite often hear people talking about sh!t coaches who can't win premierships and get sacked while their lists are in disarray as "doing a Ross Lyon"

Guarantee nearly all would be Richmond "supporters". Why would other clubs supporters get into him.

Same with George's girlfriend copping it last week and having do the same.

We have as many dickheads as any other club. Reckon with our recent success it's actually brought out more.

Yeah, even worse if it's ours. Seen the bad ones doing this live at the games in the past. I've seen other supporters more on the twitter accounts.

Blame idiotic leaders for not setting up defensivly for the last north goal....gut wrenchingly pathetic unawarness.....no mids running into the goal zone for that throw it
It bggles the mind

Refresh rate.

The opponent was in his line of sight, but he had already predetermined what he was going to do... and he didn't have the high refresh rate required in this situation to see his opponent and update his decision making in time.

So much of this game is anticipatory due to how fast it is. Refresh rate is how quickly a player can refresh their decision making based on what's around them.

Shane Edwards is an example of the opposite. He'll be in the middle of a handball and then change his decision in response to seeing an opposition player begin to take the space, so he'll pivot and pass to someone else on the fly. That's a high refresh rate.

Players with low refresh rates do best in simple roles where they can decide what they're going to do before it happens and they don't have to change much.

It is what it is.

The win-loss ratio with Aarts in the side keeps getting worse.

Moreover, you could look at causation as well as correlation over the last two weeks.

It comes down to the same question as always: what does he offer?
