Scoop had a crack at me on the game day thread when I wasn't impressed with the telecast showing replay after replay, angle after different angle and discussing the incident in depth. I wonder if highlighting incidents to such a degree has any influence on the review panel. They certainly made a big deal of the incident and imo could make the review panel feel more obliged to make a charge, whereas they might not have particularly noticed it if it wasn't made such a big deal of, or if in fact they mightn't have even given it a second thought. You also wonder these days if they think they have to be seen to be doing the right thing when they know so many have seen it and would be wondering how they'd react.
Should Jakey appeal or accept the points that could be an issue if he's ever charged again?
