He also made his presence known in the second when Brent Guerra handed Shane Edwards a goal when he shoved the lightly framed midfielder over in the goal square.
King positioned himself behind Guerra while he manned the mark, and directed a few choice words at the defender.
"I think they were thank you and a bit more," King said.
"Eddy's a quiet kid and the blokes push him around … it's got me bent why they do it.
"For Shane to kick that goal, it was a massive booster, so why not? You give a bit of lip and you cop a bit back, it's all part of the game and a bit of fun."
Such words of empathy and altruism should rightly bring a feeling of deep shame to any umpire who has misunderstood our boy for so long. This is no common garden variety thug from the back blocks

IMO the umpires are destroying Jakes career he does not get a fair go and is constantly free kicked and hardly receives a free no matter what is done to him
Its almost reached the stage he is becoming a liability out there because they are so eager to pay a free against him
What about them giving Jake a fair go instead of trying to curb his attack on the footy

Amazed how they did not pay that mark around the 12th minute mark of the second quarter!

I find the umpires' attitudes to King surprisingly unprofessional for officials in a professional game, to the extent that the unprofessionalism is a bit embarrassing in comparison to other professional sports. Makes the game look a bit amateur.

Time to lodge a complaint with the anti Discrimination Board. They don't even hide the fact that they clearly have an agenda against king. Do they want him to go postal???? :veryupset :veryupset

What about that bullshite last week when he marked after using his midriff to hold position. Whistle, free kick, in the back.
Then I hear that "rules of the game" crap on SEN today saying you can use your body. Well yer der, always been ligit until that utter rubbish last week.
